Excited to learn Java!

During my time as a student at the Flatiron School, I learned how to create web applications with Ruby on Rails for the backend and React Redux for the frontend. I have now decided on trying to learn my next programming language. I heard many great things about Java, mostly its popularity and its functionality. I will be watching Java course videos using LinkedIn Learning. I’m hoping that I can learn in a shorter time frame compared to my previous languages. I’m excited to see what applications I will create using Java. Some of my ideas are creating a stock index application, e-commerce site, and social media application. I will update you all with what I end up creating!
